Karen Langley

Karen Langley, MAS, is University Archivist at Athabasca University. She is responsible for collection development, curatorial research for new acquisitions, research on the existing collections for purposes of identification and content development for exhibitions and publications, and contributing to collections policy development. She also oversees the proper management and care of the collection, ensuring physical and intellectual access to the collection, provides educational and academic lectures, and assists with fund and resource development related to the collections. She was employed for two years at the Provincial Archives of Alberta as part of the CAIN arrangement and description project. Karen has also completed contract projects for other archives, including both digitization and arrangement and description projects.
