Zhongyi Li and Fenglian Li Memoir

This memoir was written in 2005 while Zhongyi Li and Fenglian Li visited Canada. While the memoir was written by Mr. Li, it tells the story of their lives together, as well as provides a history of their family. The couple was forced to go to China's western frontier – Zinjiang Province – during the years of 1961-1962 because of their "bad backgrounds". Mr. Li's father was an officer in the Kuomintang and Mrs. Li's father was a small landowner. Both were deemed counter-revolutionary and were forced into exile.

The memoir was later typed by Mrs. Na Li of Weinan, Shaanxi, China, and was distributed to each of Mr. Li's five children.
